Correct assembly and care help storage products remain stable and look their best.
Before assembly
- Confirm the product dimensions and clearances before opening all packaging.
- Check that all listed parts and hardware are present.
- Read the supplied instructions fully and assemble on a clean, soft surface.
Safe installation
- Place freestanding racks on a firm, level surface.
- Install any supplied wall-restraint or anti-tip hardware, especially in homes with children or pets.
- Do not allow children to climb, hang, or play on the unit.
- Do not exceed the weight limits stated on the product page or instructions.
- Distribute weight evenly and place heavier objects on lower shelves.
Cleaning
Wipe with a soft, lightly damp cloth and dry promptly. Do not use abrasive pads, corrosive cleaners, bleach, or harsh solvents unless the product instructions specifically allow them. Keep metal products ventilated and dry, and wipe away standing water.
Periodic checks
Recheck fasteners after initial use and periodically thereafter. Stop using the product if it becomes unstable, bent, cracked, or damaged.
Product-specific instructions always take priority over this general guide.
